Gryphon Tarot: Death
Death (XIII) - The end of something, the beginning of another. The death of an idea, a way of life, of the end of a cycle to allow for the start of a new. Everything dies, only to be reborn/renewed as something else. Energy does not disappear, it only changes form. The death card is about change, and profound change that can be life altering in more than the literal sense. When this card appears upright it can be an indication that a new pathway is at hand, or will be making itself known in the near future. Reversed (upside down), can indicate a refusal to adapt, or stubborness when it comes to embracing changes in ones life.
